Azteca America announced the successful implementation of a unique multi-platform branded product with AT&T as part of an extraordinary product developed in conjunction with AT&T’s media agency of record, MEC.
By harnessing creative energy across television production and digital teams, Azteca America has been successful in creating the branded www.blogventaneando.com site that is satisfying to clients and viewers alike.
The site, called Paparazzi, is fed with up to 100 short postings per month by the Ventaneando entertainment reporting team, using AT&T handsets. The posts include high-quality celebrity photos and videos with the freshest celebrity spins. Traffic includes over 20,000 Facebook and Twitter followers and growing.
The blogsite is promoted on Azteca America’s flagship entertainment show Ventaneando, with the hosts inviting viewers to visit the site, as well as highlighting some of the top postings on the show. Postings are also sent directly to viewers via SMS by texting AT&T to 55225.
“This campaign shows how we can execute great on-air, mobile, and online integrations that deliver brilliant viewer experiences in harmony with a strong brand such as AT&T,” said Rawdon Messenger, Director of New Media and Product Integration. “This property will continue to grow in popularity and is fast becoming a core element for the show.”
The project also includes a weekly poll on celebrity gossip issues. The weekly poll topic is shown on Ventaneando, and also sent via SMS exclusively to participating AT&T wireless subscribers. Viewers can vote by SMS and the results are shown on Ventaneando, as well as being sent by SMS to participants.
“The integration with Azteca America’s popular show Ventaneando is part of our long commitment to bring the most relevant Latino entertainment content to Hispanic consumers,” said Natalia Vargas, advertising manager, Hispanic Marketing, AT&T. “With these integrated offerings, fans can follow their favorite Latin artists, find out about the latest happenings and get the inside scoop directly to their handsets from the Ventaneando entertainment news team.”
“Our close collaboration with Azteca America has enabled us to create a truly custom integration for AT&T that actively engages users across 3 screens,” said Lillian Roman, MEC Senior Partner/Associate Director for National Broadcast. “By developing authentic ways to integrate AT&T products and services into this property we are offering AT&T users an enhanced and exclusive experience.”
