Barcheski named VP of Research at nuvoTV.

nuvoTV announced hat media industry research veteran Karen Barcheski has joined the company as vice president, research, a newly created position. She reports to Michael Schwimmer, chief executive officer.
Barcheski spent 16 years in the research department of Warner Bros. Television in Los Angeles. She most recently served nine years as vice president, cable distribution research and before that spent seven years as director of research.
Schwimmer said, “Karen is a savvy media research pro who will help us gain a deeper understanding of our target audience. This will enable us to create even more relevant content for our viewers and provide valuable, actionable insights to our business partners in the distribution and ad communities.”
Barcheski said, “The powerful data pouring in on the influence of the bi-cultural Latino population, combined with our network’s recent adoption of Nielsen measurement, makes this a great time to be a research executive at nuvoTV.
