Batanga Inks Magazine Distribution Agreement.

Batanga announced a magazine distribution agreement with Anderson News Company, the nation’s largest magazine wholesaler and distributor of 4,700 titles to over 45,000 retail outlets in 45 states. Under the agreement, the company’s popular Batanga Magazine will now be distributed to a wide variety of U.S. retailers via Anderson’s network.

Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, Anderson News Company controls an estimated 40% of U.S. single-copy sales. Companies in Anderson’s network include Wal-Mart, Kmart and many national drugstore and grocery store chains.

“Through our agreement with Source Interlink Companies, Batanga Magazine is now available in Barnes & Noble, Borders, B. Dalton Bookseller and Tower Records in select markets such as New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Washington DC. We fully expect our new relationship with Anderson News to have a similar impact further broadening the reach of Batanga Magazine,” said Troy McConnell, CEO of Batanga.
