Telemundo announced the appointment of Michelle Bella to the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Promotions. Bella is a seasoned marketing professional in the television industry and is known for her experience in building strong corporate brands and driving growth.
“Telemundo is ready to expand our brand and marketing initiatives so we’re proud to have attracted Michelle to this strategic executive position. Her creativity, energy, and keen sense of the U.S. Hispanic market make her a great addition to our team,” said President and CEO, James McNamara. Bella’s appointment is effective immediately and she will report directly to McNamara.
In her new role at Telemundo, Bella will be the strategic and creative guide responsible for the overall definition, conception and implementation of U.S. marketing initiatives. She will oversee a staff of more than 50 professionals working on marketing, advertising, promotions, creative services, websites, national trade and consumer conferences, and the network’s UPFRONT event.
Bella joins Telemundo from Univision where she was VP, Affiliate Marketing responsible for leading all aspects of affiliate marketing for the company’s two broadcast networks, its cable network, and its five new digital networks. Prior to her role at Univision, Bella was Corporate Director of Public Affairs with Century Communications and had been Manager of New Business Development at Communications Equity Associates. Her creativity and excellence in cable television marketing has been duly noted by the industry, Bella has won eight national awards for her campaigns and initiatives.
