Bernard and Hasson promoted at Univision.

Univision announced the appointment of Jonathan Bernard as a senior vice president within the Client Development Group and Sara Hasson as senior vice president of Brand Solutions within the Client Development Group.
 
Bernard will continue to be charged with helping local automotive marketers develop and execute strategies to drive sales with Hispanics. He will remain based in Pittsburgh and will report to Jack Randall, senior vice president, Client Development Group. Previously a vice president within Univision’s Client Development Group, Bernard successfully recruited and developed the company’s regional automotive team whose television and radio sales have continued to outpace the market. Working to deliver local automotive clients with multi-platform solutions to reach Hispanics, he has effectively collaborated across the company’s local television, radio and interactive sales teams to deliver results. Prior to joining Univision, Bernard was director of automotive at Comcast Communications, where in his last five years, he more than doubled automotive revenue. He also served as a general manager at Votaw Data Systems. Bernard attended Weber State University.
 
In her new role, Hasson will continue working with national and regional automotive marketers, while also now leading strategy development, Hispanic consumer insights and marketing services focused on the restaurant industry. She will remain based in Los Angeles and will continue reporting to Graciela Eleta, senior vice president, Brand Solutions. Hasson was also previously vice president of Brand Solutions within Univision’s Client Development Group. Since joining Univision in 1999, she has worked exclusively with national and regional automotive clients in providing research, consumer insights and marketing solutions to drive sales. Utilizing demographic trends, consumer insights, category analysis, competitive benchmarking and industry best practices, Hasson partnered with auto manufacturers and R.L. Polk to customize Hispanic marketing sessions for industry executives, dealers and agencies. In addition, she has led many high profile automotive projects including custom research, Hispanic consumer focus groups on the new vehicle purchase process, and NADA Annual Convention workshops “Accelerating Your Sales Growth: The Hispanic Market Opportunity” and “Driving Your Hispanic Sales: A Dealer’s Best Practices Toolkit.” Prior to Univision, Hasson worked for 14 years in automotive advertising account management. She earned her bachelor’s of science degree in advertising and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
