Best Practices in Hispanic Media Relations and Measurement in Denver.

Hispanic PR Wire, Business Wire and LatinClips are jointly hosting an in-depth professional development breakfast session in Denver July 27th featuring Hispanic PR Wire & LatinClips Partner Christine Clavijo-Kish titled “From Media Relations to Measurement: Maximizing Your Hispanic PR Initiatives.” The presentation is part of the 2006 National Hispanic Media Relations and Measurement Tour created by the two companies in conjunction with Business Wire and Hispanicad.com. The Denver event also will feature two panelists representing local media who will present pitching tips for their particular outlets.

This mini-workshop will cover execution and measurement insights, tactics and tools for a successful Hispanic market public relations program with a concentration on media relations. Tips on setting goals and benchmarking Hispanic initiatives are to be discussed.

CHRISTINE CLAVIJO-KISH
Christine Clavijo-Kish is CEO of LatinClips, the nation’s leading Hispanic news monitoring and analysis company. She directs all sales and marketing strategies, and jointly overseas the overall operations and client services for the company. Christine also is a founding partner of Hispanic PR Wire. She is a board member of the Hispanic Marketing & Communications Association and serves on special committees for Amigos Together for Kids and the Miami chapter of PRSA. Christine has spent more than 10 years as a public relations and marketing practitioner and is an expert in developing multicultural, multilingual strategies and promotions for the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets.

Prior to HPRW, she was practice leader and vice president of Porter Novelli’s Multicultural Marketing Practice. During her tenure with the firm, she was a founding member of the practice and developed its staff and client services for nearly three years.
