Bilingual CDOT Campaign Wins AMA Gold Peak Award.

The American Marketing Association (AMA) recently recognized local Hispanic advertising agency, Heinrich Hispanidad, for the bilingual campaign the agency produced on behalf of the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Team of Colorado.

Heinrich Hispanidad received a Gold Peak Award for marketing excellence within the Advertising category at the 17th Annual Peak Awards, which distinguishes success in marketing strategy, effectiveness, and creativity. Awards were given in 11 categories for development and implementation of a marketing program used in Colorado, or created by a Colorado company during the 2004 year.

Although the bilingual campaign was produced specifically for the Hispanic community, the campaign’s creative competed successfully against general market work, which, according to Hispanidad director Laura Sonderup, “indicates the growing importance of the Hispanic consumer, as well as the critical role of language in advertising.”

The campaign was created in an effort to support CPS Team Colorado whose mission is to provide an environment where every child in Colorado is properly secured in an approved and appropriate restraint system while riding in a motor vehicle.
