Bimbo to present Copa Univision 2012.

Bimbo will present Copa Univision 2012, one of the largest soccer tournaments held in North Texas. The tournament will be June 30 – July 1 at McInnish Park in Carrollton, Texas.

“This tournament supports the youth in Dallas and Fort Worth,” said Bimbo Brand Manager Cristina Torres. “We support initiatives that get kids exercising, teach important skills such as teamwork and help our community.”

“With soccer’s recent increase in popularity, it makes sense for Bimbo to get involved in this sort of activities reaching our consumers directly, Torres added.

The first place Copa Univision team in the adult male division and adult female division will each win the grand prize of $3,000. This year, more than 10,000 North Texas soccer fans are expected to come out to support more than 200 teams competing in the tournament.
