Bird launches RedBean Society.

Redbean Society has been established by Jackie Bird and De La Cruz, Delaware, Inc., a subsidiary of De La Cruz & Asociados of Puerto Rico. Redbean Society will work with clients to inspire and empower Latina women to make the right product and service choices in the context of the many cultural currents that impact her decisions today.

“Marketers who want to win in the U.S. Hispanic market must target Latina women. These moms, young women and female teens are the undisputed decision-makers, influencers and trend-setters that hold the key to the $1.3 trillion in household buying power expected by 2013 among Hispanic households,” said Bird.
“Today’s Latina women are confident; socially conscious and upwardly mobile. They need to balance their lives between the traditional roles that are expected of them by their families and communities and the self-realization to which they aspire and are achieving in many ways. Latina women are change-agents in their communities. And, they are surely evolving into a major economic force. Thus, old-school paradigms and stereotypes no longer apply. Brands that leverage the new reality of Latina women will engage this target and reap a superior return on their investment,” she added.
