Boost Mobile champions wireless independence with new Hispanic Advertising effort.

Boost Mobile recently unveiled the next phase of Sin Abusos – “Leaving Abuses”, the third installment in a series broadcast commercials evolving from its highly successful 2009 “Sin Abusos” (Without Abuses) Spanish-language advertising campaign. -“Leaving Abuses”, highlights ways Hispanic consumers are breaking away from the injustices faced by competing wireless companies, including expensive and unreliable wireless coverage.

Created by Boost Mobile’s lead Hispanic advertising agency iNSPIRE!, the campaign dramatizes ways consumers are reclaiming control over their wireless services by switching to Boost Mobile.

“In 2009, we introduced the Sin Abusos campaign which depicted how immune consumers had become to all the financial pain suffered by the abusive additional fees and charges incurred by the wireless industry. In 2010, the campaign Sin Abusos evolved to “Facing Abuses”, which provided dramatizations of continued wireless experience consumers were facing but were accustomed to it . Today, the next phase of Sin Abusos is – “Leaving Abuses”, a campaign that helps to empower consumers to take control over their wireless plan while fighting against the abuse”, explained Felix Tejeda, brand marketing manager Sprint Prepaid Group.

The new campaign is part of a larger, integrated communications program that includes national radio spots, out-of-home and digital elements that highlight ways wireless customers are able to achieve the freedom they have been looking for. The three 30-second television spots focus on the company’s services including the $50 unlimited plan which offers unlimited talk, text, web, ReduPago (Shrinkage), the International Connect offer and new handset Samsung Galaxy Prevail with Android, All available on the Nationwide Sprint Network.

The first spot of a three part series entitled “Marionette” aired earlier this month showing a woman manipulated like a marionette, proclaiming how by switching to Boost Mobile she now enjoys the same caliber of wireless products and services as competitors minus any strings attached. The remaining two spots which are expected to be unveiled this summer, continue to highlight the frustrations wireless consumers are facing, including lack of customer appreciation and expensive painful international calling fees when connecting with family back home.

“The Boost creative highlights how Hispanic consumers are oftentimes forced to compromise themselves in order to get what they want in wireless. It’s a fun way to point out that Boost allows consumers to get great devices and plan value all without a contract,” said Tommy Thompson, president of iNSPIRE!
