Border Media Partners (BMP) has tapped Lotus Entravision Reps (LER) to handle all of its Spanish radio national advertising sales. The partnership between LER and Border Media Partners begins immediately. Under the terms of the agreement, Lotus Entravision Reps is responsible for bringing national advertisers and agencies to BMP.
Border Media Partners, co-founded by media industry veteran, Tom Castro, owns stations in San Antonio, McAllen, Austin, Laredo, Waco and Dallas, Texas. The company is one of the fastest growing station groups in the country having acquired 29 stations in the past 18 months. “BMP plans to acquire additional stations in the southwest,” said Tom Castro, Co-Founder and President of Border Media Partners. “LER’s deep experience in national sales and sterling reputation make them an ideal partner for BMP.”
Border Media is capitalizing on the strong, positive trend in Hispanic-targeted media and advertising by offering a “one-stop media buy” for advertisers looking to tap a significant portion of the U.S. Hispanic market.
“The consolidation of BMP’s stations at LER presents national advertisers with the opportunity to tap into Texas’ Hispanic market in a very powerful way. With the addition of BMP to LER’s represented stations we now cover Spanish-language radio stations in 11 of the top 12 Hispanic markets in Texas. This definitely gives advertisers a Texas-sized bang for the buck,” said Mary Hawley, President, Lotus Entravision Reps.
