The Bravo Group announces new hires.

The Bravo Group announced the appointments of Héctor Cariño as Director of Human Resources; Ellen Gutierrez as Account Director; Jeffrey Gonzalez as Digital Strategist / Program Manager and Gery Lopez as Account Director, in Bravo Retail and Promotional Marketing.

As Director of Human Resources, Héctor Cariño will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day human resource needs of the five offices of The Bravo Group. In this role, Cariño will act as strategic advisor on HR issues for The Bravo Group leadership, particularly related to talent recruitment, organizational development and employee relations.

Prior to EngenderHealth, Cariño held positions as Director, Human Resources & Organizational Development at City Harvest; Loan Officer and Manager of Human Resources and Operations at ACCION New York / International and, previously, was Examiner at the NY Compensation Insurance Rating Board.

Ellen Gutierrez, a Bravo Group executive responsible for the AT&T business in 2003, rejoins the company as Account Director handling the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare account.

Jeffrey Gonzalez joins the Interactive division of The Bravo Group, Bravo 1a1, as a Digital Strategist / Program Manager. In this role Jeffrey will support all digital initiatives from a strategic, as well as logistical, perspective. Jeffrey comes to The Bravo Group, most recently, from Merkley Interactive where he launched the BMW Motorcycles website.

Previously, Gonzalez worked as Interactive Project Manager at Ogilvy Interactive, where he was directly responsible for Ameritrade online. Gonzalez also worked as a creative specialist at Ogilvy & Mather and co-founded Solutions-E, Inc., which provided digital solutions to executives throughout the metro area. Outside of work, Gonzalez serves as a web design instructor at Playing 2 Win, a community technology center in Harlem.

Coinciding with the appointments of Cariño, Gutierrez and Gonzalez, Gery Lopez has been appointed Account Director in Bravo RPM, its retail and promotional marketing business unit. Lopez’s responsibilities will include oversight of the day-to-day operations of Bravo RPM, one of the agency’s fastest-growing business units. He will be responsible for driving the team’s insights, ideas, client service and execution for promotions clients.

At WING Latino, Gery launched Crown Royal’s experiential on-premise marketing campaign “Noches del Rey” and was instrumental in the win of the DIAGEO account. At GlobalHue, he spearheaded over 100 grassroots events for Jeep and launched the Chrysler PT Cruiser to the Hispanic market. At Cardenas/Fernandez & Associates (CFA), Gery launched Miller’s La Maquina Musical road tour and built the platform “Noche Privada” that would become the premises for Bud Light and Budweiser “Esta Noche Toca” private concert series.
