September 9, 2006
The Bravo Group announced the appointments of Federico Duberti as Account Director, Carla Tesak as Creative Director and Monica Gutierrez as Experiential Director in the New York office.
Duberti joins The Bravo Group from Vitruvio/Leo Burnett in Madrid where, as an Account Director, he was responsible for the launch, strategic planning, creative development and coordination of three Spanish Beer brands in the UK, USA, Japan and Germany. Other accounts he handled included the Spanish Red Cross, National Lottery, and Heinz among others.
Prior to Vitruvio/Leo Burnett, Duberti held positions as an Account Director at Delvico Bates S.A. in Madrid and Vegaolmosponce/Lowe in Buenos Aires. Vegaolmosponce is one of the hottest agencies in Argentina, and Duberti was responsible for the regional business of the Household Cleaning Division at Unilever and, as Account Director, led the America Online launch in this country.
He was also an Account Supervisor and then Brand Team Leader at Leo Burnett Argentina, where he oversaw The Coca Cola Company and Walt Disney Attractions accounts. Duberti’s work has been honored with several prizes in international advertising festivals including Gold Medals in El Sol, FIAP and short lists in El Sol, FIAP, Cannes, Laus and AD&D.
With this international experience, Duberti brings with him insights gleaned from targeting consumers globally.
“My success in building long standing consumer brand relationships and revenue for my client partners was driven by developing fresh insights that converted into powerful connections,” said Federico Duberti, Account Director, The Bravo Group. “I’ll continue to build on this approach to effectively target the evolving Hispanic consumer.”
Carla Tesak joins Bravo as Creative Director.
Previously, at Young & Rubicam, Tesak had the opportunity to work on over 17 global and domestic brands. Tesak brings with her a breadth of general market and new business experience, having worked on numerous new business pitches and also collaborated with Bravo on several accounts targeting the Hispanic consumer. That’s when she decided to make the switch to Hispanic marketing.
“I’ve seen an evolution in the creative product of the Hispanic marketplace,” said Carla Tesak, Creative Director, The Bravo Group. “As it becomes more planning and insights-driven, we are doing a better job of addressing the nuances that differentiate the various Hispanic consumers. I’m excited about developing insightful, engaging and breakthrough ideas to connect with the Hispanic consumers of today,” she added.
Tesak has been honored with several awards including the Gold and Bronze medals from the Houston Art Director’s Club and a Silver Addy in 2006.
Also joining the New York team is Monica Gutierrez as Experiential Director. In this role Gutierrez will work with Bravo Uno-A-Uno (interactive) and Bravo RPM (retail and promotional unit) to create and deliver new forms of one to one experiential marketing solutions.
Prior to joining The Bravo Group, Gutierrez held the position of Creative Director and Producer of Experiential Marketing at Trixel Inc. where she was in charge of interactive, promotions and all experiential, convergent, one to one marketing across mediums and platforms. Her clients included Absolut Vodka (Hispanic), Heineken (Hispanic), Coors, Maybelline New York and RJ Reynolds among others.
Other positions Gutierrez has held include independent journalist, Live Events Producer, Broadbang Inc; Consultant for brand integration to interactive television, Pepsi Cola International; Multimedia News Producer, StarMedia and Multimedia Creative Director, Micra Multimedia among others.
“These talented individuals not only bring with them global, Hispanic and general market experience but a real appreciation and enthusiasm of the value that lies within the Hispanic community,” said Linda De Jesús-Cutler, COO & President, The Bravo Group, “which will help Bravo continue to build the creative, strategic planning and experiential product of the agency.”
