Bromley, Creative Civilization & Garcia 360 Are The San Antonio ADDYs.

The San Antonio Advertising Federation honored the best in advertising created by local advertising talents at the 38th Annual ADDY Awards on February 11, 2006 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. The ADDY Awards represent the true creative spirit of advertising by recognizing all forms of advertising, from all types of media. The ADDY Awards are unique among advertising creative competitions with the local competition feeding into a regional and then ultimately into the national competition.
“The uniqueness of San Antonio’s diverse advertising community brings an interesting wealth of advertising to the competition,” said Dean Aitken, ADDY® chairman and vice president, San Antonio Advertising Federation. “There is advertising created here not just for local companies but for national and internationally recognized brands and products.
This year’s ADDYs show theme was “The ADDYs Big Adventure” and spoofed the popular movie “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.”
Creative Civilization – An Aguilar / Girard Agency– garnered a record number of 21 ADDYS, more than any other agency at the ADDY Awards hosted by the San Antonio Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, Saturday, February 11.
ADDY awards were presented to Creative Civilization for creative work produced for agency clients Hearst Corporation – San Antonio Express-News, San Antonio Spurs, Conexión – the Hearst Corporation’s weekly bilingual newspaper, CPS Energy, the San Antonio Museum of Art and for the agency’s own promotional efforts.
