February 2, 2011
Bromley Communications, LLC earned a total of 12 trophies at this weekend’s ADDY awards ceremony recognizing the best in the local advertising industry. Among the honors given out by the American Advertising Federation San Antonio chapter, the agency won Best of Show, a special Judge’s Award and five gold trophies.
“Our top scoring campaigns this year had some things in common,” said Bromley’s Creative Director, Ron Landreth: “Strong insight, flawless execution, and clients that were true partners. You can see the Bromley team’s passion in the work, and our clients are equally passionate about the opportunities with the Hispanic market.”
Among Bromley’s gold wins were three ads for the NBA. éne-bé-a “Save Your Passion” won gold in the national TV campaign category as well as the Best of Show. éne-bé-a “Kiss,” a :60 spot, won gold in the In-Cinema category and éne-bé-a “Tow Truck,” was named the gold winner among Internet commercials. The concept behind the award-winning Latino-themed work was “save your passion, you’re going to need it.” Ads ran on Spanish language television networks and English versions ran on general market sports and entertainment television networks including ABC, ESPN and TNT.
The agency launched a multi-platform marketing campaign in 2010, éne-bé-a, which customizes the experience for Latino NBA fans nationwide and gives them the opportunity to connect with the league in their own style and fervor.
“It’s the simple ideas with strong creative concepts that resonate most effectively,” added Landreth.
The agency scored another two golds for General Mills campaigns. The first was a billboard campaign for Totinos “Kid’s Favorite,” and the second was a print ad for Progresso “Esta Sí Es Sopa.”
