Brown-Forman Awards Universal McCann Global Media Planning & Buying Assignments.

Brown-Forman Corporation announced that it has appointed Universal McCann agency of record for global spirits media planning and buying. The assignment includes global media coordination responsibilities for Jack Daniel’s and Southern Comfort. The assignment also includes regional and country-specific assignments for media planning and buying for Jack Daniel’s, Southern Comfort, Finlandia Vodka, Canadian Mist, and Glenmorangie Scotch Whisky. Specific market activities will vary, depending upon the requirements of each brand.

The Universal McCann global media team based in NY, led by Sasa Savic, Senior Vice President, Director of Multinational accounts, will coordinate global media activity across the regions and countries.

Arnold Worldwide manages the global creative assignment for Jack Daniel’s and Southern Comfort. Other agencies, some varying by country, handle creative assignments for Finlandia, Canadian Mist and Glenmorangie. Brown-Forman Media Services, an in-house agency, handles U.S. print planning and buying for several Brown-Forman brands and U.S. out-of-home planning and buying for all Brown-Forman brands.
