Buchanan Scotch Whisky Celebrates With Colombians In Full Color.

On July 20, Colombians will celebrate their Independence Day in style with a tricolor bracelet showcasing their beloved flag’s colors-yellow, blue and red-thanks to Diageo, the maker of Buchanan’s blended Scotch Whisky. Showing support for the more than 500,000 Colombians living in the United States, the company will distribute thousands of bracelets throughout festivities in Miami, New York and New Jersey. The bracelets were created as a “symbol of Colombian pride”.
Maribel Viteri, Associate Brand Manager for Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky, says: “Since 2003, when we began this campaign to distribute patriotic colored bracelets, we have witnessed thousands of Colombians proudly raising their hands up high and together declaring their patriotic sentiments.”
The makers of Buchanan’s have established key partnerships with two Colombian organizations:
Contactos USA and Conexión Colombia. These organizations will facilitate the distribution of thousands of “symbols of Colombian pride”. Additionally, a contribution has been made to these participating organizations to support programs that help the communities they serve.
