Diageo, the maker of Buchanan’s Blended Scotch whisky, is launching new packaging that highlights the exceptionally smooth, fine, elegant spirit. Thanks to the Hispanic consumer, Buchanan’s Scotch whisky is the premium whisky of choice in the United States and select Latin American countries with case sales surpassing the one million mark in during fiscal year 2006. This elite Scotch is the No. 1 whisky in Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela. And it is growing in popularity in Brazil and in USA.
The new packaging for Buchanan’s Scotch whisky is consistent with the brand personality: warm and simple yet sophisticated, unique and exclusive although never pretentious. The taste will remain the same: exceptionally smooth, refined and mature. Buchanan’s whisky has long been appreciated around the world by Latin Americans’ discerning tastes, which value its distinguished balance between body and flavor.
