Busca Corp. awarded Growth Fund Government Grant.

Busca Corp. announced that its application to the National Council on Science and Technology (CONACYT) has been successful. The award goes to top Mexican companies that promote technological development, innovation and investigation.

The amount of the grant, $1.8 million pesos ($165,000 USD), will go to financing the E-commerce Platform. Busca Corp. will partner with the number one leading videogame distributor in Mexico. Both companies will create an online store for users to purchase videogames. Busca Corp. owns the number one videogame website in Mexico and Latin America www.LevelUp.com. The site provides previews, reviews and web shows, among other features. Busca Corp. is focused on the development and design of their Internet platform capable of creating its own social networks that offer the latest in technology. The company has international alliances with Playboy Mexico, MSN, Yahoo!, Terra Networks and Televisa.

Ramon Toledo, the President and Founder of Busca Corp., said, “To receive this award is an honor. We will now focus all of our attention and work into creating a top quality E-commerce site for all of our current users and the new ones we will be able to have.”

Last year the company also received a Government Grant from CONACYT. The project they successfully submitted was to enable Busca Corp. to create the first Mobile Application Development Center in Mexico for smart phones. The award was for $86,000 USD.
