Buston Media to purchase Adelante Media Group’s Seattle & Eastern Washington Radio Stations

Amador Bustos and Jay Meyers, Adelante’s CEO, visited the Seattle and Eastern Washington staff to announce the transfer of its nine radio stations to their former owner; Bustos Media.

Bustos Media’s CEO, Amador S. Bustos said, “It’s like returning home one more time.  We have bought and sold Spanish radio stations in Washington three times since we first bought KZTA in Yakima back in 1990.”  Mr. Bustos added, “We will continue to build on the good work Adelante has done in these markets.”

It was further announced that Bustos Media will begin a Local Management Agreement (LMA) on the properties while the parties await regulatory approval of the sale.  Bill Fanning, Managing Director of Media Venture Partners, handled the transaction on behalf of the seller.
