CanZion release album declaring ‘La Biblia Es Mi Guía’.

American Bible Society has released their much-anticipated Christian reggaeton album, A Fuego Con La Palabra, which features some of the industry’s best-known artists. The album, a joint venture between American Bible Society and Latin Christian music label CanZion Group, was created as part of American Bible Society’s ongoing Bible advocacy campaign, “La Biblia Es Mi Guia”.

Christian Reggaeton’s leading artists, including Manny Monte, Dr. P and Funky contributed original compositions for the A Fuego Con La Palabra, which has 10 completely new songs. The album also includes six other tracks and is supplemented by a DVD, containing interviews with the album’s artists, music videos and an audio version of the Book of John. Every song on the album, which will be distributed by CanZion Group throughout the United States and Latin America, promotes Biblical literacy, especially among the Hispanic community.

“This album is unique because it features not only fantastic music, but it also has a powerful message,” said Rev. Emilio A. Reyes, Vice President, Hispanic/Latino Ministries of American Bible Society. “Our mission at ABS is to make the message of the Bible accessible, and A Fuego Con La Palabra helps us do that with an important audience.”

“La Biblia Es Mi Guía” is a national campaign to encourage Bible reading focused on reaching Latinos throughout the United States and the world. The award winning Christian/Latino rock band Salvador has been promoting “La Biblia Es Mi Guía” during their nationwide tour, and New York Yankee pitcher Mariano Rivera recently participated in a subway advertising campaign in New York.

CanZion Group President Arturo Allen said, “CanZion is committed to strengthening the faith of believers and opening the hearts of those who are unfamiliar with the Word of God. Through our partnership with ABS, the release of this album helps us achieve that.”
