Carlos Vives, Emilia, Wisin & Xavi Debut Telemundo’s World Cup 26™ Song at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Thursday night, the star-studded 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards brought together a constellation of the best and brightest Latin music stars as well as special performances and collaborations, including the premiere of “Somos Más,” the network’s official song for the FIFA World Cup 26™ featuring Carlos Vives, Emilia, Wisin and Xavi.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards was the perfect stage for the world premiere of Somos Más. The electrifying performance captured the energy, passion and unity that define both Latin music and fútbol, setting the tone for the excitement leading up to Telemundo’s exclusive coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ next summer. The collaboration brought together the powerful sounds of these award-winning artists — below are their quotes regarding the project:

“We wanted to create a song that represents all of us, the three countries hosting the World Cup and the many generations united by fútbol. With Wisin’s energy, Emilia’s style, and Xavi’s fresh sound, Somos Más celebrates our shared spirit, our languages and the power of music to bring us together.”
– Carlos Vives

“Being part of this project is truly a dream. It’s an honor to represent our Latin community and to join such incredible artists in something so powerful and unforgettable. This song celebrates who we are — our passion, our culture and our unity.”
– Emilia

“Somos Más is more than a great song, it’s a powerful message without borders. We each represent our flags, but the greatest one is the flag of unity and respect. I’m grateful to everyone involved for letting me bring my energy to a project that celebrates togetherness through music.”
– Wisin

“Even though we come from different worlds, we’re united by one passion — fútbol. That’s what the song is all about: connection, unity, and the power of the game to bring us together.”
– Xavi

The song, which will soon be released, will serve as an anthem for Telemundo’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup 26™.
