Carrier makes US Hispanic TV premiere V-me.

V-me presents the world Hispanic premiere of the blockbuster 10-hour reality series Carrier from Executive Producer Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions. Carrier takes viewers inside the carrier USS Nimitz during its wartime deployment to the Persian Gulf. It’s huge – and it’s personal, a floating city of 85 planes and 5,000 sailors and marines – many of them Latinos — who live under a major airport runway…and sleep on top of a nuclear reactor. Far from home, experiencing stress, loneliness, intimacy and conflict, these young men and women experience heart-pounding action followed by moments of private emotion — right up to the tearful reunions as the tour of duty ends. Mondays, beginning February 1, at 9:00 pm (ET) on V-me.

In nearly 40 markets, V-me is available free over-the-air, and on basic digital cable. V-me is also carried nationally via satellite in the basic and Hispanic packages of Dish Network and DirecTV. In some areas, V-me is available on Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse. For local channel information go to vmetv.com/estaciones.
