Castells & Asociados Honored By Cable Industry.

Castells & Asociados Advertising was honored by the Southern California chapter of the Cable and Telecommunications Association of Marketing (CTAM) at the 6th Golden Palm Awards Gala. The Los Angeles-based agency made a clean sweep in the multicultural category with their “Mexican Movie Posters” direct mail campaign, Adelphia Cable Communications (winner); “Verdades de la Vida” (“Life Lessons”), Comcast National (runner-up); and the “CableLatino Hispanic Retail Starter Kit, Brochure and Pocket Guide,” Comcast-Los Angeles (runner-up). The Southern California CTAM Golden Palm Awards Gala, which promotes and recognizes highly creative marketing, promotional and public relations activities within the local cable and telecommunications community.

Castells & Asociados received the 2004 Golden Palm Award for Multicultural Marketing for the “Mexican Movie Posters” direct marketing campaign for Adelphia Cable Communications. As part of an ongoing campaign, the Castells team developed a classic Mexican movie poster look and feel inspired by the golden age of Mexican film. The strategy behind the nostalgic and eye catching creative is to build awareness, generate positive response rates and increase the Adelphia subscriber base of Hispanic households in Southern California.
