Centroamérica TV acquires U.S. Rights to Salvadoran Broadcaster, TCS

Centroamérica TV has entered into a wide ranging agreement with an affiliate of TCS (Telecorporación Salvadoreña) to acquire exclusive U.S. rights to the best programs from the top broadcast stations in El Salvador (Channels 2, 4 and 6). TCS programming will air on Centroamérica TV beginning on Friday, May 1.

Notable TCS programs to air on Centroamérica TV include:

•    El Noticiero: The number one newscast in El Salvador. Known for its uncompromising objectivity, this hour-long news program keeps viewers current on the most important issues of the day. Moderated by Moises Urbina and Monica Casamiquela. Monday-Friday 10pm ET/7pm PT.
•    Frente a Frente: A fast-paced talk show featuring some of the most important public figures in El Salvador. Conducted by Moises Urbina, the program features analytical discussions about the most current and contested topics in El Salvador and around the world. Monday-Friday 11:30am ET/8:30am PT.  
•    TCS Noticias: This renowned morning newscast has provided the people of El Salvador with their morning news for the past 27 years. Featuring acclaimed reporters Federico Zeledon and Lourdes Lara, this half-hour newscast recaps all the top local and global news. Monday-Friday 11am ET/8am PT.
•    Grandiosas: An afternoon entertainment show specifically formulated for 21st century women, featuring a cast of some of the most recognized female figures in Salvadoran TV: Maria Elisa Parker, Luiza Manga, Veronica Guerrero, and Regina Canas. Monday-Friday 3:30pm ET/12:30pm PT.
•    Domingo Para Todos: A gameshow sure to provide loads of family fun. Every Sunday, hysterical hosts Gordo Max, Caro Sandoval, and Julia Lopez bring hopeful contestants a heaping dose of fun, laughter and—if all goes to plan—money. Sundays at 2:00pm ET/11:00am PT.
•    Tal Para Cual: A hit variety show featuring cutting edge interviews, live music, comedy acts and much more. Starring ‘La Tenchis,’ ‘El Gordo,’ ‘Cocolito,’ Elena and ‘La Niña Lula.’ Sundays at 11:30pm ET/8:30pm PT.

In addition to these top-rated programs, Centroamerica TV will continue to carry exclusive rights to the El Salvador Professional Soccer League, the most popular sports league in El Salvador.
