Charriez – General Manager & CFO of LatinVox.

Hispanic advertising agency Latinvox announced today the promotion of Awilda Charriez to General Manager and CFO of the agency.

Mrs. Charriez joined Latinvox earlier this year as SVP of Finance and has since streamlined the finance and operations of the agency supporting its growth and development internally.

In her new assignment, Ms. Charriez will enhance her contribution to Latinvox as an instrumental collaborator guiding the agency’s strategic development, heading HR, Accounts, Finance, Operations and Media Departments. She will compliment the strategic plans for the agency and drive the process to maximize the agency resources. Awilda will also be working closely with clients to build sustainable partnerships.

“Evolution and growth require a complete understanding of the market place and the vision of the future; Awilda possesses the vision and talent to build and deliver according to the needs and expectations of our partners and business clients,” commented Roberto Ramos, Latinvox President and CEO. “The ever-evolving Hispanic market requires a higher level of knowledge and practical know-how. Our talented team lead by Awilda will contribute to build a media agency that provides clients differentiated, creative and market-driven plans that make an impact with consumers and increase the bottom line.”

“Clients want to understand how to be more effective in the Hispanic Market arena,” said Awilda Charriez. “We will help them not only to learn and see results that reflect positively their bottom line but also have that emotional connection that resonates for a long time and creates value for their brands, products and services. This new assignment gives me the opportunity to build this success for them and for Latinvox.”

Previous to her position at Latinvox, Ms. Charriez worked at Torre Lazur-McCann Healthcare Worldwide, CMG Communications, Landor Associates and KSL Media. Awilda was also presented with the “2006 Bright Stars” award for her fund raising efforts for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk (NJ Chapter) and has spearheaded corporate fundraising efforts for Muscular Dystrophy, AIDS, MS and The Katrina Relief Fund.
