Charter To Carry TuTv Networks In Select Markets.

Charter Communications, Inc. and TuTv, a joint venture of Grupo Televisa, S.A. and Univision Communications Inc. announced a carriage agreement under which Charter will carry the TuTv networks in select markets. TuTv has five Spanish-language networks and the agreement enables Charter to offer them as part of its Charter Latino package, which targets the Hispanic market. Initial launches will include systems in Los Angeles, Reno, Riverside, St Louis and the state of Washington.

“The TuTv agreement is an opportunity to further enhance our Charter Latino offer -already one of the most compelling Spanish language packages in the marketplace,” said Tim Kelly, Charter Corporate Director of Core Video Marketing. “The TuTv channels have solid brand awareness and offer high quality original Spanish-language content.”

“We are delighted to be partnering with Charter in their effort to reach new digital cable customers,” said Mark Feldman, TuTv President and CEO. “By choosing the TuTv networks for its Charter Latino programming line up, Charter will be providing customers with the highest quality, original, authentic Spanish-language programming available.”
