Chiquis to Host Star-Studded 2026 Billboard Latin Women in Music, Airing Live on Telemundo April 23 at 9pm/8c

Telemundo and Billboard announced award-winning singer, entrepreneur, and 2025 honoree, Chiquis, as the official host of the fourth annual Billboard Latin Women in Music special, bringing her signature charisma and authenticity to this year’s celebration. The two-hour special will air live on Thursday, April 23 at 9pm/8c on Telemundo and will also stream live on Peacock and the Telemundo app.
A dynamic and influential voice in Latin entertainment, previously took the stage at Billboard Latin Women in Music as a 2025 honoree, where she received the “Impact” award for her extraordinary contributions to the music industry and society. A three-time Latin GRAMMY® winner and one of the leading voices in Regional Mexican music, she has redefined the genre by blending traditional Latin sounds with modern influences while staying deeply connected to her heritage. Beyond her music, she is a visionary entrepreneur, media mogul, philanthropist and Latino community advocate, further amplifying her influence across entertainment and culture. Now, she returns to the special in a new role as host, to lead a powerful night celebrating trailblazing Latina artists.
As the only annual televised celebration dedicated to Latina artists shaping the future of music, the event spotlights women whose artistry, influence, and impact continue to transform the industry. Now in its fourth year, Billboard Latin Women in Music has solidified its position as a powerful platform, bringing together the most influential voices in Latin music for a night of standout performances, recognition, and community.
This year’s honorees include Becky G, receiving the “Global Impact” award; Ivy Queen who will receive the “Pioneer” award; Joy, honored with the “Spirit of Change” award; Julieta Venegas, receiving the “Artistic Excellence” award; and Young Miko, who will be honored with the “Unstoppable Artist” award.
