Cineconcepto America opens in Miami.

CineConcepto, Mexico has opened a US office – CineConcepto America Inc.

The offices are in the Brickell area of Miami, and headed by newly hired Executive Producer Leda Barham.

“The timing was right for opening Cineconcepto here in the US, and the timing was right for me too – I am very happy to be joining such an established company who has shown such a serious commitment to doing things “right”, here in the US, and I am looking forward to making the US company as successful as it’s parent company in Mexico.” Said Leda Barham.

Barham a native of Costa Rica, had most recently served as Executive Producer for Letca Films, and previously had spent 16 years with her own production company with offices in Miami and Costa Rica.

This move comes as Cineconcepto, one of the oldest and most successful production companies in Latin America has seen the opportunity to expand it’s operation to the US to better serve both the US General Market and the US Hispanic Market with it’s roster of International award winning directors.

The roster includes:

Fred Clapp, international Award Winning Director who combines exceptional story telling with powerful visual work.

Pepe Castro, young and dynamic director with an extensive background in art direction and animation; Christian Murguia, a graduate of the prestigious London Film School this avant-garde director has a cutting edge style, who is best known for his ability to direct talent.

Fernando Arzate, the newest director on the roster is new to directing but a veteran in the film business. Fernando has a strong design and photographic background. Charlie Mainardi is an award winning director, well known for his automotive work as well as a pristine “mise en scene” for live action.

The newly formed company has the capability of producing in the US, and through it’s established strategic alliances can produce very effectively in Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica.
