Cinelatino celebrates the Season with a Holiday Movie Countdown to Christmas

Cinelatino spreads the joy of the holidays all month long. Each night from December 1st through Christmas Day, viewers can enjoy a spectacular lineup of holiday themed movies which will culminate on December 24th and 25th with a two day marathon of some of the best and most-beloved Spanish-language Christmas films.

The holiday movie countdown will include the premieres of two heart-warming tales: Un Milagro en el Barrio (Miracle in Spanish Harlem) and Milagro en Praga (Little Baby Jesus) on Sunday, December 6th and Sunday, December 13th, respectively. Both films will air at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT.

Among the films featured in the holiday lineup are:

•    PREMIERE Un Milagro en el Barrio (“Miracle in Spanish Harlem”): Kate del Castillo stars in this moving Christmas drama. Following the life of Tito Jimenez, a widower and father of two girls, ‘A Miracle in Spanish Harlem’ is a magical and romantic tale that starts off with a hoax and ends with a surprisingly true miracle. Featuring Luis Antonio Ramos, Fátima Ptacek and Adrián Martínez.

•    PREMIERE Milagro en Praga (“Little Baby Jesus”): A true Christmas story, ‘Milagro en Praga’ tells the tale of two very different families whose destinies will become intertwined during the most anticipated time of the year: Christmas. The meeting point is the majestic Golden City of Prague. There they will each seek to make their dreams come true, triggering a fun series of predicaments, romances, and small miracles that can only happen when hearts are connected. Starring: Dolores Heredia, Aislinn Derbez, Josef Abrhám, and Libuse Safránkova.

•    Pastorela: Joaquin Cosio stars as Jesus Juarez, a tormented police officer who has always played the part of the Devil in his town´s Nativity Play. This year, however, a new priest arrives at the local church and “unjustly” recasts the role. Jesus decides that he will take the part back no matter what, leading to a hilarious good vs evil battle between him and the priest. With Ana Serradilla and Eduardo España.

•    Feliz Christmas, Merry Navidad: Three extraordinary kids, with different backgrounds, cultures and languages, engage in a series of adventures while sharing their dreams to discover Christmas´s true meaning. Starring Tere Lopez Tarin, Carlos Soriano and Christopher Palomo.

•    A Wonderful Christmas: Feliz Navidad: Martin is the janitor in the apartment complex in which he happily lives with his wife, his two kids and one more on the way. On Christmas Eve, an unexpected event will cause him and his family to bond together even more, showing the miracle of true love.  Luis Jimenez, Giselle Blondet, Raul de Molina y Mariana Seoane.
