Círculo Creativo announces Winners of its ‘Young Creatives’ and ‘NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES’ competition

The Círculo Creativo of USA, as the official representative of the Cannes Lions Festival, announces the winners of its annual competitions “Young Creatives” and “NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES” that selects the pair that will represent the U.S. Hispanic market at the 2013 Young Lions, as part of the Cannes Festival. The convocation of 130 contestants, the largest in the history of the contests, was judged by a consecrated jury consisting of Luigi Ghidotti, Executive Creative Director of Ponce Buenos Aires; Enrique Codesido, Executive Creative Director of JWT Mexico; and Gustavo Victorino, Creative Director of DM9DDB Brazil.

For the first time, contestants submitted ideas to help a nonprofit organization, Casa Libre, whose purpose includes working with groups of low socioeconomic status of the Hispanic community in the United States and orphans and /or undocumented children.

“Everyone at Casa Libre is excited and honored to have been chosen by Círculo Creativo and have been the inspiration for the participants of their competitions,” says Federico Bustamante, director of Casa Libre. “For such an important year for immigration, and especially for Latinos, is this kind of cooperation and support that will help ushering in the next generation of Latino professionals ready to face the challenges ahead.”
While both contests award a trip to the Cannes Festival for the winning pairs, including hotel and air tickets, are the winners of the ‘Young Creatives’ who will compete to represent the United States Hispanic market at the 2013 Cannes Festival.

“We are very pleased with this year’s participation of our ‘Young Creatives’ and ‘NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES’ competitions,” said Claudio Vera, Círculo Creativo president and creative director of Casanova Pendrill. “We are proud not only because the level of creativity of the pairs was excellent, but also because we know that this will leave their mark on our community by supporting such an important cause as the one of ‘Casa Libre.’  It is extremely rewarding to do something for our Hispanic community; it certainly gives much more meaning to our work. ”
