Circulo Creativo USA launches ‘YOUNG CREATIVES’ and ‘NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES’ competition.

Circulo Creativo USA, as the official representative of the Cannes Lions Festival, launches its annual competitions “YOUNG CREATIVES” and “NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES” to select pairs that represent the U.S. Hispanic market at the upcoming YOUNG LIONS at 2013 Cannes Lions Festival to be held between 16 and 22 June, 2013. For the first time, participants will present ideas to help a nonprofit organization (to be revealed with the briefing), which works with low income groups in the U.S. Hispanic community.

“This year our competitions ‘YOUNG CREATIVES’ and ‘NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES’ have special meaning because we are not only exposing the creativity among the new generation of advertisers in Hispanic marketing, but also supporting a cause of great impact in our community, ” said Claudio Vera, president of Circulo Creativo and creative director of Casanova Pendrill.

Creatives who work in the U.S. Hispanic market and are current members of the Circulo Creativo are eligible to participate. In the case of the competition ‘Young Creatives,’ participants must be under 28 (born after June 22, 1984). The contest ‘NOT SO YOUNG CREATIVES’ is open to all those over 28 years old.

Winners of the ‘Young Creatives’ will compete in the 2013 Cannes Festival representing the U.S. Hispanic market. Furthermore, both contests will award a prize of a trip for the winners, including hotel and air tickets, to the 2013 Cannes Festival.

Registration for both contests is open now until Wednesday, March 20, the briefing will be provided on March 22, and the work will be accepted until March 25th at 5pm EST.

To participate, you must send an email to co*********@ci*************.org, with individual information (name, surname, date of birth, contact) of each member to compete and the agency to which they belong.
