CNN en Español honored with GLAAD Awards.

CNN en Español was among the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Award recipients in the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The GLAAD Media Awards were presented in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
The network received two awards in this special gala, which included the Outstanding Daytime Talk Show Episode Award for their story “Confirma su identidad como mujer” on Showbiz and the Outstanding TV Journalism Award for their story “Los transexuales buscan su identidad en medio de ignorancia y prejuicios” on the show Encuentro.
