Coca-Cola Telenovela Club makes dreams come true.

Coca-Cola North America rolled out the red carpet and made the telenovela fantasies of several lucky fans come true this weekend.

Consumers from across the country were treated to an all-expense paid, star-studded getaway to Miami as part of Coca-Cola North America’s Telenovela Club (mispremioscocacola.com) consumer promotion. The weekend began with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the upcoming Univision novela, “Bajo las Riendas del Amor,” starring Andriana Fonseca, Gabriel Soto, Adamari Lopez and Victor Gonzalez. Fans and their guests also attended a red carpet, Hollywood-style premiere party at The Pearl at Nikki Beach on South Beach where they got to meet and chat with telenovela legends Jacqueline Bracamontes and Sebastian Rulli.

“We are so excited that Coca-Cola has created the Telenovela Club, allowing fans to be part of something they really care about,” said Bracamontes and Rulli in a joint statement. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them and a tremendous experience for us. We love meeting and spending time with our fans. This event treated them like the stars they are.”

The Coca-Cola Telenovela Club allows consumers to express their love for Spanish soap operas by accumulating Mis Premios Coca-Cola points to redeem prizes related to the most popular novelas of all time.

Coca-Cola North America second phase of the Telenovela Club consumer promotion, scheduled to kick off in September, will celebrate the genre’s best actresses, including performers from “Cuna de Lobos,” “Mi Destino eres Tu,” “Rosalinda” and “Entre Amor y el Oidio.” Telenovela fans will be able to redeem points for DVD sets, computer screensavers and wallpapers and telenovela memorabilia.

“The Telenovela Club was created as part of Mis Premios Coca-Cola to allow our consumers opportunities to redeem unique prizes related to something they are most passionate about – novelas,” said Santiago Blanco, assistant vice president, Hispanic Marketing, Coca-Cola North America. “We are so excited about the response we have received and are looking forward to the second phase of the club.”
