C.O.D Receives London International Advertising Awards Finalist Nomination.

Creative on Demand (C.O.D) was nominated by an international panel of judges as a Finalist for the coveted first place in the heavily disputed 2004 “Television/Cinema” category at the London International Advertising and Design Awards (LIAA). C.O.D’s nominated entry was “Nothing to Hide,” a U.S. Hispanic market Volkswagen TV spot developed for the vehicle manufacturer’s Certified Pre-Owned division. The winners will be announced at LIAA’s 19th Annual Awards Ceremony to be held in London on November 8, 2004.

The London International Advertising Awards, founded in 1985, honors the world’s most creative television/cinema commercials, print advertisements, package design and radio commercials. The LIAA are one of the most sought after and prestigious awards for creative excellence in advertising and design and remain one of the most demanding in the industry, according to LIAA President Barbara Levy. They are also the most rigorously judged in the industry. To achieve Finalist status, an entry must receive an average score of 7.5 out of a maximum of 10 points. To be eligible for a statue, the score must be at least a 9.

Among the 70 countries represented in this year’s entries are Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Belarus, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom, the United States and Venezuela.
