Commonground/MGS in DISTRESS – Class Action Lawsuit filed

A group of employees of Commonground/MGS under the leadership of Jorge Espinosa filed in South Florida Federal District Court a lawsuit against PCH Communications, (aka) Commonground/MGS.

PCH was created by Panton Equity Partners, which merged Miami based MGSCOMM, New York based The Vidal Partnership and Chicago based Commonground Marketing.  According to the Daily Beast, Dr. David Panton / Chairman & CEO of Panton Equity Partners is also known as the driving force behind the Republican Party Presidential candidateTed Cruz’ Super Pac named Stand for Principle.

The lawsuit alleges that Commonground/MGS unlawfully and unceremoniously fired all employees on December 5, 2015 without taking into considerations the process established by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.

Besides the class action lawsuit there are legal issues that must be resolved, along with client service and media placement issues.
