CONCACAF @ Fútbol de Primera.

Fútbol de Primera announced that it has obtained the exclusive U.S. Spanish-language radio rights of all home World Cup Qualifying matches of all countries affiliated to Concacaf, with the exception of the home matches of USA and El Salvador.

The two-year agreement between FDP and Traffic Sports USA covers all games to be played during the 2004 and 2005 phases of qualifying.

“In our quest to bring our listeners the best and most important soccer matches, we are proud to add to our stable of properties the games that matter most. FDP will now have the ability to broadcast ALL Mexico’s National Team matches both home and away, and also we will be able to reach to the very important and growing Central American Community as well,” Andres Cantor Chairman of Futbol de Primera said.

“Traffic Sports USA is glad to announce that FDP will be broadcasting games of the 2006 WCQ of CONCACAF in the USA. One of our goals is to bring soccer to every person in the Hispanic Community in the USA and the radio is a powerful tool to reach this goal”, Fabio Tordin, CEO of Traffic Sports USA said.

Futbol de Primera first broadcast under this agreement will be the World Cup Qualifying match between Dominica and Mexico to be played at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday June 19, 2004.
