Conexión Newspaper Launches In San Antonio.

Conexión, created by the San Antonio Express-News and the Hearst Corporation hit news racks on Wednesday, May 5, 2004.

News, sports, entertainment and a little bit of “chisme,” are all rolled up into a reading experience that will be relevant to all acculturation levels of Hispanics. Readers can enjoy the Spanish content, the Spanish and English content or just the English content.
Resonating with the dynamics of San Antonio’s booming Hispanic marketplace, Conexión is written by Hispanics for Hispanics. Rául A. Flores will serve as Editor of Conexión. Featured columnists include Carlos Guerra, Ed Tijerina, Kristina Ruiz-Healy and Claudia Zapata, among others.
Conexión will be distributed every Thursday through thousands of retail distribution outlets, hundreds of new, colorful Conexión racks and delivered through an established home delivery system.
