Conill Sponsors ‘LatinBeat 2003’.

Conill is a sponsor of the fourth edition of LATINBEAT, the popular annual survey of recent films from Latin America presented by The Film Society of Lincoln Center, and which will take place at the Walter Reade Theater from September 5-28.

“Hispanic Americans, now the largest minority according to the latest census figures, identify themselves by the parts of the world that they or their ancestors come from,” said Cynthia McFarlane, Conill’s managing director. “We’re honored to support a festival that not only highlights the work of these talented filmmakers, but also help to build the pride of U.S. Hispanics.”

The Film Society of Lincoln Center’s fourth annual LatinBeat features 24 films from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela. All films are in their original language with English subtitles.
