Constru-Guía al Día magazine celebrates 1st anniversary.

Celebrating its one-year anniversary with the upcoming summer issue, Constru-Guía al Día is the nation’s largest magazine for Hispanic residential and light commercial contractors, and it continues to grow.

“Constru-Guía al Día has enjoyed resounding success and growth during its first year,” said Kevin Kilpatrick, publisher of Constru-Guía al Día. “We’re providing invaluable information to Hispanic contractors on topics from job site safety to new products and services. Historically, the Hispanic contractor was difficult to reach due to his reluctance to self-identify. Since our magazine is available for free at The Home Depot Contractor Services Desk, contractors easily find the information they need to grow their business.”

The Home Depot stores in key Hispanic markets distribute the magazine from the Contractor Services Desk, a central location for contractors. In addition, Constru-Guía al Día is available at the Contractor Trade Shows that The Home Depot executes nationwide.

The spring 2008 issue will include subscription cards, a first for the magazine, so contractors in every market can access the educational information in Constru-Guía al Día.

“For the last few years, we have actively been searching for media to build a relationship with the Spanish-speaking Hispanic contractor,” says Mark Hartman, senior vice president of Marketing, Ryobi and RIDGID. “The launch of Constru-Guía al Día was just what we were looking for. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the magazine, the innovative distribution system and the circulation.”
