Contacto Deportivo de Budweiser To Expand To One Hour @ TeleFutura.

World Cup fever is here to stay. For four long years, soccer fans have anxiously awaited the arrival of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, and TeleFutura’s Contacto Deportivo de Budweiser will be covering all of the action every step of the way.

In preparation for this most highly anticipated international sports event, the TeleFutura Network is expanding the length of its highly rated sports show, Contacto Deportivo de Budweiser, to one hour. On Monday, May 27th, the Network will begin airing the daily sports program from 11 p.m. – 12 a.m. ET (check local listings). Seven days a week, this nightly show will highlight scores and the most exciting, detailed and up-to-date information from the tournament sites. TeleFutura Network will be providing special taped broadcasts of all the World Cup games from Japan and Korea in a variety of convenient time periods for the enjoyment and convenience of its viewers.

Now an extra half-hour longer, Contacto Deportivo de Budweiser will be reporting on all aspects of the games from up-close and personal interviews with the players and the coaches, to in-depth analysis of the important plays and scores of each match. Premiering in January of this year, Contacto Deportivo de Budweiser has developed a considerable following of devoted fans and viewers who have come to depend on it for all of the sports highlights of the day and lively experienced commentary from its team of veteran sportscasters.

For TeleFutura viewers who were not able to catch a particular game live or would like to watch their favorite match again, the Network will present taped broadcasts of all World Cup matches from beginning to end providing audiences with the perfect opportunity not to miss one single second of the action. The first of these games will be broadcast on the opening day of the tournament, Friday, May 31st, and will feature the thrilling match between France and Senegal.
