Copa Santander Libertadores returns to Fox Sports En Español.

Fox Sports en Español announced the return of the Copa Santander Libertadores, the most prestigious soccer championship in Latin America. Fox Sports en Español’s live and exclusive game coverage begins on Tuesday, January 26 at 6:00pm ET/3pm PT with the first preliminary round match, featuring Club Atlético Colón (ARG) versus U. Católica (CHI). The tournament encompasses over 100 matches, culminating with the two-part final in August.

The Copa Santander Libertadores, a fixture in Fox Sports en Español’s lineup since 2002, features 38 clubs from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Bolivia. Headlining the roster are Mexico’s most storied teams, including defending champions Estudiantes de Argentina, plus Chivas of Guadalajara and San Luís. All matches will be telecast exclusively live in Spanish on Fox Sports en Español.

Well-known commentator Alejandro Luna and former Mexican soccer goalkeeper Martin Zuñiga will be on-hand to cover all major club tournaments on Fox Sports en Español, including the Copa Santander Libertadores.
