Court TV targets Hispanic viewers.

Court TV, in concert with Turner’s Multicultural Market Development division, has entered into an exclusive partnership with AOL Latino for a ground-breaking multi-cultural marketing campaign designed to entice Spanish-speaking viewers to sample the network’s programming, it was announced by Mary Corigliano, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Court TV. This is the first multicultural initiative launched by Court TV and also the first consumer marketing campaign on broadband from Turner designed to reach the Latino community.

Officially launching on December 11th, three Spanish-dubbed episodes of the non-fiction series Psychic Detectives will stream on AOL Latino at www.aollatino.com. Following its run on AOL Latino, those three episodes will join two more Spanish-language episodes of that series for a run on Courttv.com.

“Our mission is to bring Court TV programming to a wider, more diverse audience. We feel that by partnering with industry leader AOL Latino and personalizing the popular Psychic Detectives series for Spanish-speaking viewers, we’re on our way to achieving that goal,” commented Ms. Corigliano. “This is the start of many multicultural initiatives to come.”

“As part of our ongoing strategy to provide the most relevant and original Spanish language video content available on the Web, we are excited to partner with Court TV to offer a full stream of one of their popular shows in Spanish,” said Ralph Rivera, General Manager and Vice President, AOL Latino.

Promotions to drive traffic to Psychic Detectives on AOL Latino will take place both via AOL Latino and local spot radio buys on Spanish radio stations in major markets. Court TV will make an additional push to drive traffic to a targeted Spanish language area on Courttv.com via promotions with media outlets serving the Latino market.
