Creative Civilization Recognized By Public Relations Society of America.

Creative Civilization-An Aguilar/Girard Agency dominated at the first annual Del Oro Awards dinner hosted by the San Antonio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Creative Civilization garnered five awards including the Horizon Award, a Las Platas Award, two El Bronce Awards and an El Bronce Award of Merit. The Del Oro Awards acknowledge the achievements of public relations professionals in San Antonio.

Creative Civilization’s Public Relations Manager Francisco J. Castillo was honored with the Horizon Award for his outstanding achievements in the public relations field. The award is presented to one “rising star” PR professional who exhibits strong leadership and mentors other public relations practitioners.

The Las Platas Award recognizes outstanding public relations campaigns that meet the highest standards in the components of research, planning, execution and evaluation. Creative Civilization’s community relations effort for the “Texas Department of Health’s Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Campaign” garnered the Las Platas Award.

The El Bronce Award, which recognizes outstanding public relations tactics was awarded to Creative Civilization in two separate categories. The Laurel Ridge Hospital Spanish pamphlet won in the Brochure category and the Animal Defense League’s 2003 ‘For the Love of Animals’ calendar received top honors in the Special Purpose Publication category.

An El Bronce Award of Merit was presented to Creative Civilization for client work on behalf of San Fernando City Centre Newsletter.
