Crombie – Editor of LatinFinance.

LatinFinance has appointed James Crombie as Editor, effective immediately. Mr. Crombie will lead editorial operations, including LatinFinance’s magazine and Daily Brief, as well as evolving its Internet presence.

His knowledge, experience and contacts will enable LatinFinance to reinforce the leading position of its award-winning print, electronic and conference products at a time of rapid change in Latin America and in the publishing sector,” said Stuart Allen, chief executive officer of LatinFinance.

Previously, Mr. Crombie was senior editor at International Financing Review (IFR) in New York, where he led news and analysis of Latin America, U.S. structured finance, and U.S. fixed income. He was also product manager of Thomson Financial’s real-time Web-based Latin America joint venture with Dow Jones Newswires.
