Cubs Partner with Hoy & Telemundo Chicago.

The Chicago Cubs and loscubs.com announced a partnership with Hoy newspaper and Telemundo Chicago to bring exclusive player interviews to Chicago‚s Spanish-speaking Cubs fans.

The series, “Conoce a Tus Cubs‰ or “Get to know your Cubs,‰ began the week of April 30th and will run through the end of the season. Telemundo newscasts will air weekly interview segments on Wednesday while Hoy will offer further in-depth coverage in its Thursday interview series. Video playback will be available on the Chicago Cubs new Spanish language website, www.loscubs.com.

“Following the launch of www.loscubs.com, partnering with two of Chicago‚s most influential Spanish-language media outlets furthers our efforts to reach this vital community of Cubs followers,‰ said Jay Blunk, director of marketing for the Chicago Cubs.

The series began with an interview of Cubs rookie outfielder Felix Pie and will continue throughout the summer with interviews focusing on the athletes‚ interests away from the playing field.‰
