Cunarro – Executive Director @ National Association of Hispanic Publications.

The National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) has named Ivonne Cunarro as their new executive director. During her professional career Cunarro has held positions of increasing responsibility.
Born in Puerto Rico, Cunarro has filled a number of distinguished positions both in government and the private sector. Among these, she has served as: Director of Communications for the Hispanic Association
on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) (2001), Deputy Director of Communications in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (1998-2001), and Communications Director and Press Secretary for Congressman José E. Serrano (1994-98). Cunarro graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Marketing and a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, both from the University of Maryland. Due to her background and array of skills, Cunarro was selected to represent and direct the NAHP.
“It is for me a great honor to have the opportunity to serve the members of the National Association of Hispanic Publications as its new Executive Director,” said Ivonne Cunarro. “Since it was established in
1982, the NAHP has grown tremendously. I am committed to contributing to the work of our Presidente Zeke Montes and board of directors and to lead this organization to ensure that we reach greater heights in the
years to come.”
The National Association of Hispanic Publications is a non-profit organization representing more than 200 Hispanic publications nationwide with a combined circulation of more than 10 million. NAHP strives to inform and educate the Hispanic community, provide technical assistance and improve the quality of Hispanic publications.
