DangerTV: Adventure and Adrenaline for the Multi-Culti + Generation

By Javier Saralegui, Founder and CEO, Danger TV, LLC

At its core, DangerTV’s mission is anchored in the belief that adventure knows no bounds and that diversity enriches every expedition. From Coast Guard rescues to No-Go zones in Colombia, the FAST channel takes audiences on a rollercoaster ride of discovery, inviting them to explore new frontiers and experience the adrenaline rush of exploration.

By curating globally sourced series and documentaries, the network has successfully filled the gap in adrenaline entertainment. With over one million subscribers on YouTube, 100 million hours streamed since 2020, and an impressive 80% year-over-year growth, DangerTV has demonstrated remarkable momentum. With African American and US Hispanic representing over 50%+ of its viewership, DangerTV appeals to a Multi-Culti+ generation that looks like America.

The current programming schedule delivers on the diverse viewership the founders sought, by presenting real and compelling stories that drive all viewers (regardless of ethnicity) to contemplate that most precarious of questions; what would I do?

Perhaps not surprisingly, according to Google/YouTube, DangerTV’s audience (75% male/ 25% female, 18-34) over index’s against the following lifestyles; Outdoor and Recreation, Scuba Diving, Camping, Fishing, Hunting, 4v Wheel Driving and they’re in market for pickup trucks, campers and rv’s, boats and watercraft and other outdoor lifestyle products.

Advertisers are beginning to pick up on the trend, that adventure combined with a dollop of adrenaline is a great environment to pitch their products and affirms that they see a Multi Culti+ audience as something all can embrace including themselves (see attachment).

Recognizing that there is a Multi Culti+ audience and catering to it is only our first step. Finding new content that also reflects the diversity of our viewership in its casts is the next step in making adventure meets adrenaline, something we can all enjoy and have in common.
