Davidson Media Group Buys Into Philadelphia.

According to Radio & Records magazine, in the latest in a series of deals the company has recently made, Davidson Media Group enters its largest market thus far by purchasing Tropical WEMG from Mega Communications for $8.75 million. The deal raises Davidson’s total station count to 22. Mega, meanwhile, departs the City of Brotherly Love, leaving the company with a three-station cluster in Washington, a two-station operation in Tampa and a stand-alone in Orlando.
