ABC Radio Networks announced the appointment of Carey Davis to the position of Vice President, Multicultural Sales for ABC Radio Networks.

In his new position, Carey is responsible for developing and managing advertising sales across ABC Radio Networks Urban and Hispanic products and services. Davis is based in New York City and reports to Mike Connolly, Senior Vice President of Sales for ABC Radio Networks.

“Carey is a veteran radio executive with more than 30 years of experience in local and national sales as well as creating radio programming that serves both English-speaking and multicultural audiences,” said Connolly. “I am pleased to welcome him to the ABC Radio Networks family and look forward to working closely with him to execute our aggressive Hispanic and Urban sales initiatives.”

Prior to joining ABC Radio Networks, Davis was Vice President and General Manager at Spanish Broadcasting System, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sister stations WSKQ-FM and WPAT-FM. Earlier, he held multiple management positions at CBS/Group W Radio from 1985 to 1996, including National Sales Manager for KYW Newsradio 1060 Philadelphia, General Sales Manager for 1010 WINS Newsradio New York, and Vice President of Sales Development for the Radio division.

Davis served as a member of the Hispanic Federation of New York from 1998 to 2005 and was a commissioner on the New York City Latin Entertainment and Media Commission. In addition, he served as the Chairman of the New York Market Radio Association in 2003.
